Episode 1 "Pussy Gallore!"

On this spectacular first episode we start off by talking about the first comic books we picked up that got us into the medium that we all deeply love. Will's start being Jurassic park comics, Jennifer's being Teen Titans, Jennifer denies ever having a crush on a comic book character that had a mullet, Chuck's being little Spider-Man issues that came with peanut butter and Jesus's being the Rising Star's series.
Will talks a litte bit about what it's like to be a gay comic book fan which starts a little discussion about gay comic book characters such as Midnighter, Apollo, The Rawhide Kid, Northstar, and Hulkling.
A conversation starts about the seemingly lack of children reading comics, aside from those being forced to read them by their geek parents, and how it forces writers to keep writing darker and deeper stories. Chuck presents the notion that it's because of the rising parental awareness of what children are exposed to that there has to be a whole separate faction of comics that are specifically made for children.
And on the subject of children, we are blessed with the first edition of "My Six Year Old Sister Reviews Your Comic". Natalia shares with us her profound insights on IDW's "H.P. Lovecraft's The Dunwich Horror". Overall she's fairly pleased with it except for the fact that it's squishing her head. And to wrap up she predicts that the story is headed to the place where you buy new cars.
On the second half of the show we talk more about current series. Jesus talks about his dissatisfaction with the newest Punisher ongoing series and how much more it makes the PunisherMax series stand out, despite Elektra getting her freak on with the Kingpin. Jennifer shares her thoughts about the current Batwoman comic and gives us a little history on the character. Will brings up the recent first episode of the new Green Lantern animated series which he's overall pleased with and Chuck tells us his thoughts over all the new 52 series such as Aquaman, Animal Man and  Swamp Thing, which Jesus is starting to come around on.
Afterwards Chuck shares his new interest in the series Morning Glories and shows Jesus how wrong he was in thinking that it was some comic about a bunch of cool kids being pretty and popular. And as Chuck continues to share his new found passion Jennifer takes the show on a sharp left by sharing her feelings of exclusion in the comic book culture because of being a sharp dressed lady.
The show wraps up with Will giving us an overview of the Spider-Girl series from the nineties and compares is to the current incarnation, Anya Corazon, which he is not too crazy about.
