Episode 5 "A Wonderful Christmas"

  On this festive episode of the Elseworlds Podcast the whole group is back and ready to deliver! We're very excited to announce that we've already picked up a couple sponsors and will be playing commercials for their services on our show, we think you're really gonna like them!

  In the first segment we take turns talking about some newer stuff that we're reading. Will starts off by sharing his thoughts on Avenging Spider-Man. Chuck goes over the "death" of Johnny Storm briefly and then talks about his pick for the show The New Avengers and the current story arc involving another group of dark avengers. Jennifer tells us about her choice Batgirl, which the whole gang agrees is a great comic. Then to finish the segment Jesus shares his current favorite comic Caligula which rouses a little conversation about things that may or may not be too inappropriate for comics. We then take a break to listen to another staggering edition of "Will's Notes".
  In our middle segment Will takes us through some of the current comic book and movie news starting off with a proper rest in peace for Joe Simon and continuing with other topics such as the The Dark Knight Rises, the new Dc animated movie, the new series of breast cancer awareness ads featuring your favorite super heroines, the development of the Marvel mmorpg, and some rumors concerning the Avengers movie. After that we take a break to listen to another insightful edition of "My Six Year Old Sister Reviews Your Comics"
  On our last segment we discuss our thoughts on the death of comic book characters and their eventual revival. This last segment is brought to us by our second sponsor which we play a commercial for. At the end of the show we exchanged presents, off air, pictures below. Episode 4 "An Episode About Brad"

 On this explosive episode Jesus and Jennifer wonder whether or not Chuck and Will passed away due to their absence but go on with the show anyways. To start off we debate who Brad, the local dream boat, has a crush on and what girls he's most likely into. Then Jennifer takes the rest of the first half to talk about Teen Titans, how she got into them, what some of her favorite runs have been and the current series stacks up against them.  After that we go to break and play you a clip from an earlier unreleased episode where a very inebriated Will summarizes the plot for Spider-Island.
  In the second half Jesus starts off by talking about three comics he's currently reading and enjoying very much: Sixth Gun, Red Skull: Incarnate and his current favorite Green Wake. To wrap up the show the dynamic duo talk about how they organize their comics and how hard it is to explain non-comic book lovers the significance of your collection.

Episode 3 "The Blue Episode"

  On this very special episode of the Elseworlds Podcast we try a new format. In the first segment we talk about what we're reading. Jennifer tells us about the current Wonder Woman series and it's treatment of her boots. Chuck shares a new series by Garth Ennis, Stitched. Will takes us back to an earlier arc of an obscure comic that none of us had heard about, Fantastic Four. And to finish off Jesus goes over one of his new favorite series, Sergio Aragones Funnies. We then take a moment to hear review of it from my six year old sister.
  On the second segment Chuck brings us all up to date on current comic book and movie news and then we take a second break to bring you a new clip where Will opens a new toy and describes his findings to us.
  To finish the show we talk a bit about how DC has a strong central female character and whether or not Marvel, or any other publishers for that matter, matches that in any way.

Episode 2 "Guys Night in"

  On this explosive episode of Elseworlds Jennifer decided to take the night off to be sick and the guys barely noticed. Chuck starts off the show by talking about Dark Horse's The Occultist and his thoughts on it. Will discusses his newest passion, Image's Super Dinosaur. Jesus briefly mentions his dissatisfaction with Bendis toning down Moon Knight's crazy before going over his pick of the week, Image's The Last of the Greats. Then we're graced with another visit from my six year old sister and her review of the same comic.
  After the break the guys go over the evolution of comics in regards to pricing, trends and sales gimmicks. Chuck brings up the fact that comic book covers seem to give less and less information about what the comic book itself is really about. The gang then reminisces about holographic characters, trading cards and bad experience Will had with a comic book artist. The remainder of the show the group talks about the rise of digital comics and how it will affect the industry we all know and love.
